DID YOU KNOW THAT CARLA KATZ GOT A SCHOLARSHIP TO ATTEND SETON HALL LAW SCHOOL FULL TIME WHILE SHE COLLECTS A FULL SALARY FROM YOU?  AND DID YOU KNOW THAT JON CORZINE WROTE HER RECOMMENDATION TO GET INTO LAW SCHOOL AFTER HE MADE A HUGE DONATION TO THE SCHOOL? "In the past, Katz has said she rented the apartment because it's convenient to Seton Hall University, where she is a third-year law student on a full scholarship. Katz won the scholarship the year after Corzine pledged to donate $1 million over five years to the university through his foundation. Corzine, Katz and university officials have all previously insisted she received the scholarship on her own merits." Star Ledger, March 4, 2007.
(Do you still have her law school schedule?)

Did you know that Carla Katz paid $1.1 million CASH for a condominium in the same building Jon Corzine lives in and she bought it WHILE SHE WAS SITTING ACROSS THE BARGAINING TABLE FROM HIS TEAM AND WHILE SHE WAS SECRETLY EMAILING HIM.

Did you know that the SAME lawyer who is representing Carla in the email case is also representing Local 1034.  YOU are paying his bill! DID you also know that this lawyer - Sid Lehman - is from the same law firm that handled the condo sale?  (Szaferman, Lakind, Lehman) But guess what else - that's the same law firm that the Director of the Governor's Office of Employee Relations worked for. The same Director of Employee Relations who was bargaining the contract.

Did you know that the presidents of the other CWA locals are fed up with Carla Katz and they say that Katz was prohibited from sending emails to Jon Corzine and from trying to secretly negotiate behind the back of the bargaining committee?  Have you ever heard of any union where a member of the bargaining committee gets millions of dollars from the boss? (Read Tom Moran's Column telling Carla she should step down.)

"Carla Katz's legal claims in this case blatantly misrepresent the collective bargaining responsibilities of her local and the national union under CWA's structure, and they are a thinly veiled attempt to justify her effort to circumvent the state worker bargaining committee last winter," said Chris Shelton, vice president of CWA District One.

"The CWA constitution makes the national union the sole bargaining agent for New Jersey state workers, and the national union and the committee agreed that any contact with the governor would be with the full knowledge and consent of the entire committee," Shelton said. "It is intolerable to have one local president out of seven purporting to represent the interests of all 40,000 CWA state workers in unauthorized, secret, sidebar contact with any representative of management, let alone the governor." Bergen Record, Tuesday September 18

DID YOU KNOW THAT LAST MONTH CARLA KATZ MOVED THE MEMBERSHIP MEETING FROM TRENTON TO ATLANTIC CITY BECAUSE SHE WAS AFRAID THAT MEMBERS WOULD SHOW UP AND ASK HER QUESTIONS ABOUT THE MONEY SHE WAS SPENDING TO PROTECT HER SECRET EMAILS.
